When the “What Ifs” about your child’s future begin to spiral, do not try to “think” your way out of it.
Cross your arms over your chest and tap your shoulders alternately (left, right, left, right) while breathing deeply into your belly. Repeat for 2 minutes.
 
The Scientific Why :
This is a scientific technique known as “Bilateral Stimulation.”
By tapping alternating sides of the body, you force the Left and Right Hemispheres of your brain to communicate. This effectively “cross-talks” the emotional fear in the Right Brain with the logical reasoning of the Left Brain.
This scientific reset inhibits the Amygdala’s alarm and activates the Orbitofrontal Cortex, allowing your Mind Power to realize that you are safe and capable in this moment.
